Energy Lab <energylab>
|New Debrasco Remix Up!||9/15/09|
|I've finished my second Debrasco remix.|
This one is a Drum and Bass version of their track "This Monkey's Going To Hell".
I've called this one "Energy Lab's Hellbound Remix", and it's the fastest track I've ever written (175 Beats Per Minute), as well as one of the busiest, production-wise.
Big thanks to the boys from Debrasco for letting me work on another one of their tracks.
You can listen to the original here: http://www.bebo.com/debrascouk
Let me know what you think!
|2 new tracks to download!||8/3/09|
|It's been a while since I've posted links to download my music, so I thought I'd make up for it and give you 2 of my most recent tracks.|
First up is the new Electro version of my Run 2U track.
Next up is a remix I did for local Punk/Rock group, "Debrasco".
You can hear the original version and more on Debrasco's Bebo page, or on MySpace: http://www.myspace.com/debrascouk
Please note that the tracks are only available for 7 days or 100 downloads, whichever happens first (YouSendIt rules) and I'm posting these links to various sites.
|Debrasco - Stand Up And Be Counted (Energy Lab's Standing Tall Remix)||6/28/09|
|The guys from Debrasco were kind enough to let me remix one of their awesome tracks, and I must say I've really enjoyed doing this one.|
It's not very often you get a chance to create a dance track from a punk rock track, and I've tried to keep the energy from the original track, as well as building a drum track to sound as realistic as possible.
Check out the original track, as well as others from their fantastic "Destiny, Fate, Time" E.P right here on Bebo:
|New track added - Run 2U Remix||5/27/09|
|I was listening to my old Run 2U track recently, and thought it was showing it's age.|
So, what better way to bring it up to date than to drop the guitar sample and give it some Electro treatment.
This is the first track I've mastered using Ableton Live, and I'm really happy with the overall sound of it.
|Please vote for my music||5/1/09|
|I've entered a competition to get a track released on Defected Records.|
I'd be very grateful if you could spare a couple of minutes to vote for my track:
|Another text read out on Radio 1||4/22/09|
|Not music related (much) but I got another text read out on Radio One on Tuesday 21/4.|
I've added the audio clip in my songs to listen to.
Radio Bun for the win!
|I've uploaded a couple of tracks which are unfinished.|
The "Dale Cooper" track is based upon the Twin Peaks TV programme, and the "Eclectic Guitar" track is one that I've been working on for the last 3 years, but just can't seem to finish.
Eclectic Guitar was written so that I could produce a track which only used guitars, but I seem to have hit a brick wall with it.
Anyway, if you like them, download them here:
|New track: Music||1/26/09|
|Well, here it is, my first track of 2009.|
It's been a while since I've released a new track, but I've got a couple of more in the pipeline and I'll try and get them completed soon.
See if you can recognise the vocal sample from this track
|New track: OldSkool||9/24/08|
|Well, it's been a while since I've released something new due to personal commitments, so I thought I'd kick things off with an OldSkool megamix I've been working on for the past few weeks.|
I've sampled lots of tracks from the 90's, added lots of production and speeded everything up to make the old tracks fast enough for today's tastes.
See how many you remember, and how many you can identify.
I'm dedicating this track to Teddy, for all his hard work in providing me with artwork to use on my various Energy Lab pages.
This track can also be downloaded in a 320kbps high quality MP3 from this link:
|A quick update||9/12/08|
|It's been pretty quiet for Energy Lab updates these past couple of months, and that's mainly to me having a new job, which has meant I haven't had much spare time to write new music.|
I'm hoping to have a new track ready in the next week or two, which I'll be making available to download for free.
For those of you that like your OldSkool stuff, it'll be worth the wait
