| Here it is, finally! We are releasing I Can't Tolerate You on Valentine's day (14th Feb 2009) as a free download single via our website (www.anamae.net). It's definitely not a love song and I know the title is very anti valentines but I'm sure there will be plenty of people out there who aren't having a good time on 14th Feb! Those of you who have seen us live recently will have have heard the song before, it's an up beat, driving pop tune with plenty of energy and we're all really happy with it  We've also recorded an acoustic unplugged version of This Is The Right Place To Stand as the B-side. A preview of these tracks will be on myspace soon but the official release of both tracks and artwork can be downloaded from 14th February for FREE! Also, we just posted information about a few upcoming gigs, hope to see you all there x | ||||

| Time flies when you're having fun... I know the last few months have been quiet gig wise but definitely not behind the scenes! We will hopefully have a new song "I Can't Tolerate You" available for download/myspace/bebo in January, a few tweaks to the mix are just being finalised. We've got a gig in Belfast on 5th December to finish off the year on the live front and I promise we'll be playing a lot and doing a lot more publicly more next year!!!! | ||||

| YES...They are complete The 4 new songs are finally recorded, mixed and mastered. It is the happiest I've ever been about our recordings...of course I always think I can do better whether it's singing or writing but thats what keeps us all going isn't it. My fav song would have to be Anything You Can Do...today. It may change tommorrow again! Now for the cd covers....any ideas anyone? Well if any of you are free on Friday (24th Aug) evening about 6.45pm we are playing at the Hilden Beer Festival. The weather is at least a little bit like summer this week so come a long and sample a few beers and listen to a few great bands. What could be better! If you can't make that we're playing the "Wan Big Weekend" in The Town House in Castlederg on Saturday....a nice way to end August and a great way to kick start gigging again as a 3 piece...me, my brother and Darrell who we've known since we were 4 yrs old. Can you tell I'm excited? Ana xx | ||||

| Recording nearly finished...getting mixed and mastered at the end of July - very excited. The pain, heartache and pure tiredness of recording does fade very quickly when the cd appears in ur hand. It quickly re-appears again when I'm stuck in the vocal booth for hours on end...my feet go numb, I mix up my words, I f#@k up word timings...I go flat..then sharp, frogs appear in my throat and decide they like it there and don't want to leave...you would think it all such a simple process but it's not and yes, I know - we have it easy!! Not much in the way of gigs over the summer but we are practising hard and writing new material. August will see the first few gigs with us in our "new" positions - hope to see you there. Keep an ear out for the new songs xx | ||||
