A New Goat &&&... From TEXAS???850 days ago

Máirtín has been sponsored a new bodhrán by http://www.Metloef.com Irish Drums (played by Gaelic Storm and Dervish among others), in Austin Texas. He went down to expert craftsman Rob Forkners (who plays with The Tea Merchants) workshop last November, which is in a secret location in the boonies of Texas.

He had to sleep the whole drive to and from (a hard task for Máirtín but he is committed to finding the best Bodhrán in the world and he thinks he may have found it!) to be allowed work on his own Brand New Bodhrán. Máirtín worked on the design from start to finish and what has come out is only magical. If you see him along the road ask him about his new friend Brrrenda, who's sister was seen performing on The Eurovision this year)

Back in November a friend of the band in Chicago, Lee, set us up with a Fuchsia MySpace account and for the first few months we were doing ok, then a friend who has played with us a number of time Kevin Kiley from Arkansas took over a few weeks ago with the design and it has exploded. Check out the new pictures, posters, video clips and so much more on http://myspace.com/thefuchsiaband

Poor Brutie's Passing851 days ago

Brutie has passed away! This is the character from Brutie's Barn Dances of the Track on the recent release Grá Dá Raibh Album. He had been in Eoin's aunt's place, she has loads of dogs, so it's a kinda retirement home for dogs... he was happy out there anyhew, then one day he went off chasing with the other dogs... and he never came back! Mim (Eoin's aunt) went walking, looking for him... and found him dead in a ditch!! So, he either died or was murdered!! Either way, he dies in action!!
