| Late on the night of November 13th, we came to the decision unanimously. What instigated it is complicated, but on a more general level, the following have always caused us problems: ...A lack of money for rehearsals; for gear; for getting our name out there. ...A huge sense of tension every time we tried to write something new. ...One too many side-projects. ...The feeling that we're putting time into something no one gives a shit about.Very, very few 'get' it. Usually, we don't even get each other [musically]. A sincere thank you to people like... ...Paul Sherry, David Tapley, Colum Folan, Conor Muldowney, Marc Balbirnie, Amar Abbas, Jenna Moorehouse, Katie Mullen, Phil Kavanagh, Lynn Savage, Naomi Savage, Fiachra Kinder, Suzanne, Sarah and Caitríona Murphy, Evan Keogh, Robbie, Keith, Mikey & Andy from SD, Owen Mehan, Ben McHugh, Grace M., Ian Cullen, Dean McHugh, Helena Roche & DUAMS, Sarah ('Saint Kitten'), Emmíd Abdul Raheem Jones, Becky McGrane, Carl, Aaron's parents for letting us noise-pollute them constantly, Kenny Yu, Henry, Debbie, Marc (You-I-Won't-Do-What-You-Tell-Me), The Problematic, Cormac Reynolds... ...and other, probably just-as-important people who we've offended. They'll be superimposed in later. This is technically a hiatus. We may come together again in the future. But that's far from certain. We've never not been creatively dysfunctional. We were broken when we started. Blackheart maiden and the thief. 'Cinderella' (just uploaded) stands as the last song the band recorded together. I think it's a good one. Hope both our fans do too! | Thanks to everybody who came. We love you. Especially Fiachra. But especially Colum Folan (Alright Bloke). We played a cover of Kylie Minogue's "2 Hearts" that went down very well. Perhaps come along to one of our next gigs to hear it again... (it's punky and not totally shite). Also, if you haven't heard us play Jaded Daze live yet, give this a listen. The studio recording most people know is much different to how we play it as a band.
