Alex Kidd and Kiddfectious travel to Ireland hace 25 días

Hard Dance hero Alex Kidd returns to Ireland for a week of rolling basslines and thumping beats as he hits Belfast, Portrush and Galway from Friday 13 to Friday 20 November!

LOVE Fridays at the Beach Club in Belfast is the energetic showman’s first port of call as he spearheads Planetlove’s monthly club night at the Odyssey Pavilion venue.

Then it’s on to Traks in Portrush for a full on dance music spectacular as Kiddfectious hits the north coast with the famous seaside nighterie transformed into a hard dance playground - both visually and aurally – as Kiddfectees from across the country head north.

Rising prodigy Kidd Kaos and the Godfather of the North-West club scene, X-ray, join in the fun.

The GPO in Galway plays host to the final date of Kidd’s hotly anticipated mini-tour of the island - three gigs not to be missed from a DJ/producer who has enjoyed arguably his most successful year to date.

Not only has Kidd taken his Kiddfectious brand around the world, but successfully delivered his Kiddstock arena-show/festival concept to umpteen thousand clubbers with four massive shows in England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland.

In the studio he has joined forces and made several collaborations with Kaos and the world’s leading female DJ Lisa Lashes; their tracks winning support from DJs across the harder-edged spectrum as well as finding their way onto national radio via BBC Radio 1.

In Australia Kidd made his debut at Sublime in Sydney and in the Netherlands played both Ground Zero and Dance Valley.

At Planetlove Ireland he played the set of the festival, leaving revellers hanging on every beat and confirming his status as one of the most popular and sought after DJs in the country.

And with plans for more Kiddfectious nights and international gigs between now and the end of the year Kidd continues his aural assault on electronic music at incredible pace.

Alex Kidd and Kiddfectious return to Ireland from Friday 13 to Friday 20 November with dates at LOVE Fridays at the Beach Club, Odyssey Pavilion Belfast, on Friday 13, Traks in Portrush on Saturday 14 and the GPO in Galway on Friday 20 November.

Belfast DJ/producer Mog, who is putting the final touches to his debut artist album, supports Kidd at LOVE Fridays while Kidd Kaos and X-ray join him in Traks. Support in the GPO comes in the form of Michael Doherty. For more information log onto www.planetlovemusic.com and www.traks-complex.com

Planetlove WKD Winter Party – ‘Into The Light’hace 44 días

After one of their biggest years to date Planetlove WKD announce the finale of their 2009 season as they descend on the King’s Hall Complex with a multitude of colours, sounds and surprises to deliver thousands of revellers INTO THE LIGHT!

On Boxing Night, December 26, the famous Belfast venue is transformed into a parallel universe of UV lighting and glow as darkness fails and light prevails.

Seven megastars of vibrant stature and ability form the nucleus of this world; Eddie Halliwell, Marco V, John O’Callaghan, Lisa Lashes, Zany, DJ Mog and very special guest Sander van Doorn.

And as a united, glowing sea of colour washes across the King’s Hall dancefloor this breathtaking spectacle will take full effect and blossom into mesmerizing coloured effects.

Judith Farrell-Rowan, PLM explains;

“We have a fantastic Winter Party in store this year. As if our clubbers needed any excuse, this year’s ‘Into the Light’ theme is an open invitation to wear anything neon or white, or that glows or flashes, so the crowd becomes part of the vivid illuminations planned for the show! King’s Hall will be awash with colour and light!”

Eddie Halliwell is the majestic English spinner whose technical wizardry astonishes crowds across the planet. Chants of “Eddie Eddie Eddie” echo out from wherever he plays and he is the cornerstone for some of the biggest electronic music brands on the globe – a DJ of epic proportion and one of the most sought after artists in the world.

Marco V is the Dutch legend who has destroyed dancefloors from Europe and Australia to South America, Asia and the USA. He has not only shaped dance music history, but continues to redefine it at incredible pace.

And John O’Callaghan is Ireland’s very own superstar DJ/producer. The first Irish artist to break into DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJ Poll, O’Callaghan has gone on to become a worldwide leader in trance. His 2009 artist album Never Fade Away is well on its way to becoming one of the biggest-selling dance music albums ever created.

In Lisa Lashes Planetlove present the globe’s leading female DJ, while hardstyle fans across the country will relish the opportunity to catch one of the genre’s most influential stars; Zany!

Special guest Sander van Doorn is on the verge of global domination as he continues his climb to the summit of electronic music stardom. Loved by his fans, feared by his rivals, the Dutchman’s set at Planetlove’s Winter Party is one of the most hotly anticipated of the year.

Belfast hero DJ Mog completes the mightily impressive line-up in a year that has saw him find commercial success with his vocal anthem 'Searching', star on Judge Jules' BBC Radio 1 show and launch his new label Ego Records.

Judith Robinson, WKD says;

“Planetlove WKD at the King’s Hall is the biggest party in Ireland this Christmas! Planetlove are driving things forward as usual by theming their massive Winter Parties. The atmosphere will be absolutely electric. WKD is as always, very proud to be part of it, and to be associated with the ever-evolving Planetlove brand.”

It has been an amazing year for the ‘FTS’ producers who won Best Track for ‘Hold Us Back’ and scooped the top award for Best DJ/Act at the Hard Dance Awards held in Leeds Academy, England.

And after being accredited with the release of the first ever hardstyle artist album in 2007 (Today Is Tomorrow), Showtek release their eagerly anticipated follow-up, Analogue Players In A Digital World, at the end of October!

‘Scratchmaster’ Kutski continues to go from strength to strength with his weekly Radio 1 show moved to a prime Friday night/Saturday morning timeslot and tours of Australia and Singapore already undertaken this year.

Playing every major festival in the UK, launching his record label Freerange Muzik, gigging in Ibiza and writing for dance music magazines M8 and Core Mag, Kutski continues to push the boundaries of harder-edged music, propelling himself to the forefront of the electronic music scene in 2009.

In Bootek Clubland will witness one of the freshest and most technically-gifted artists to hit the UK in recent years.
