| Well its been a great year for deep future with production and this is the perfect end to a great year..TO BE IN LOVE. is one of my favourite tracks going back to 1998 when i first heard off a mix cd from Mark Dixon himself. Delighted to get the oppertunity do do this remix. I think deep future has brought this track up to date with a slight Gui Boratto feel to it.. A great end of night track track ....one that will stay in your head the whole way home. THANKS FOR ALL YOUR SUPPORT THIS YEAR WITH DEEP FUTURE AND I LOOK FORWARD TO A FANTASTIC NEW YEAR IN 2010... | HI ALL Well Im back again with another one for you. This was a great track to work on. Designed for my up and comming gig @ the Clarance on May 9th. Hope to see you there. There will be lots more stuff like this so a great night to be had. I couldn't decide what way to bring this track so i decided to do 2 versions and mix them together. first being a lill easier and the second a kicking track. | Hi All Well im back after a well deserved break.This track means so much to me in so many ways. You will all know this track "Robin S" Show me love. I worked so much on this track, most i've ever worked on before and loved every minute. In saying that the vocals still need some beefing up which I'll get to as soon as but for now have a listen to this verson and let me know what you think???????..............Hope you enjoy it as much as i do... | Deep Future: Excellence Well the album title say's it all " Excellence" this is indeed a very apt title for the album.......... Upon first listen, you realise the quality, production and music are of first rate order. The intro draws you into a viseral expierence of a musical journey which......explores and creates a musical spectre right between your ears and only teases your senses for what is to follow. The intro is a slow melodic build up which doesn't truly emphasis or highlight what is to follow. And what is to follow is a journey through sound, through emotions and through and electric expierence, which can't be described through words but only through listening. Don't get me wrong im not gonna rant and rave all day long about this album, there are some moments on the album, which i felt fell below the quality of the track preceeding it.... But stand track's for myself were as follows: "Pashion", funky melodic and athmospheric with a nice subtle kick in it. "Snowpeaks", has a nice tribal feel to it but also break's down in the perfect spot to intersect the track and leave you waiting for the rest of it. "Sweeper", reminds me of the early release's which we all enjoyed and the reason 99% of listen to dance music today. "Clubbin", i just wanna dance, like we used to, vocal fit's perfectly, breakdown spot on, I just wanna raise my hand's upto the sky and remember the old day's, when we were young and would go all nite, (Go on my son). "Green Eyes", my favourite track, don't ask why, it just is. Just dance and enjoy !!!! "Future Rhythm", honestly the jury still out on this, my mind just cant decide at the moment ???? "Wanna Stay Here", One word TUNE !!!! Im not gonna say to much more about this album, because I know how people's opinions differ, so please no arguements, this is my humble opinion.. Bit a of advice......If your lucky enough to have a copy of this album, treasure it, this can be someting special and if your lucky enough to catch Deep Future Live, then DO, because this will be a pleasure which shall be seldom recreated......................... ............ by Leigh Mc Loughlin....... | ||||
