 | Team Building Trip Up Snowdon | 11/11/07 | ||

| 11/11/07 Hi Everyone, Just a quick message to say sorry I have not been online in awhile and that I will try to return messages as soon as possible. Yesturday, I spent the day up Snowdon, for a team building day with work. I can now admit that the seven of us from work that actually went are a rather close team now. I saw a totally different side to a few of the people who went up and I must admit I now get on better with them than I did before hand. We went up the second most difficult path to go on although as there were quite a few injuries on the way up, once we up we all made the group decission to come down an easier path, plus it had taken us all longer to get up than previously thought so we where running out of day light hours. Lately, I have been rather busy with work and college. I am doing a part-time Higher National Certificate in Electrical/Electronic Engineering. With college and just starting shifts at work it has become quite a tiering life I am leading, but soon enough I should get used to it. | Hello Everyone, I have just got back from holiday, it was a small break to relax and chill out a bit before the hard work starts back up at college. We went away as a family to a place just outside Blackpool. We went to the lake district as well, we spent Thursday shopping in Blackpool and Friday in the Pleasure Beach. We ended coming back with so much more than we had left here with in the early hours of Monday morning. We all had a great time, although I did have to try and cope with sharing a room again, but it was all okay! Kath and I managed it perfectly well. Okay, until I was ready to sleep and she would not stop chatting. Love you really Kath! (I just did not when I wanted to sleep and you would not allow me!) We did all sorts of things while away. | Hey Everyone, How are you all? What have you all been up to? Anything interesting? What have I missed out on down in Reading/Wokingham/Twyford? I miss you all down there - it is still sometimes quite weird not having you all just down the road to just chill out and have a laugh. Lately, I have been busy sorting everything out for interviews and my course! Tomorrow I have an interview with BT for an apprenticeship, I am actually looking for it although I am not too keen on interviews (but to be honest not many of my mates up here are!) I have been rather busy with work and college (oh and sorting out a record of achievements so that I have something to discuss during an interview) I have had plenty of fun lately. My 18th was great fun, Kath had organised for a group of us to meet up in Weatherspoons,(without me knowing anything about it! and we were late to turn up!), there were quite a few of us! The best bit is even though I was drunk, I could still remember absolutely everything the day after (which is always a good thing!) I suppose that I should go and make sure that I have got everything ready for tomorrow's interview so that I do not leave it all to the last minute like I would normally do so! | hi everyone, i just thought i would let you all know what i have been up to lately! since i have applied for a load of apprenticeships for when my college course has finished and so that after the summer i can start in the apprenticeship. there is one that if i do get it, i will have the induction out in ireland and then when i get back here i will go on an outward bound week and have fun with that prooving to them that i can deal with heights and any weather conditions because it is working on wind farms. what have all of you been up to? anything interesting? how are you all? i have not been out for a while, because i have had sooooooo much college work to do, and i have got only a few weeks until i hand in my project and i really am not looking forward to that! the time has just flowen by since i got set my project unit - i cannot believe it was nearly twenty odd weeks ago!!! i hope that everything is going well with you all! as you all know by now i have recently been diagonsed diabetic, so i am having to check everything out about all of the apprenticeships that i am applying for to check that there is no restictions etc. it has become quite annoying when filling out application forms, to be honest it is a pain in the ass! but it is better than getting told afterwords i suppose!! i had better go. speak to you all soon love you all x x x | ||||

| Hello Everyone, I am very sorry that it has been so long since I last sat down and let you all know what I have been up to - so I suppose that I have got quite a bit to write today! So what is there for me to say? Where should I start? I finally managed to find a job in February. The job is at McDonalds. To be honest I cannot see what is everyone's problem with people working at McDonalds. Okay - so some of the guys can be (shall I say) crazy, but it does not mean that they are not people that you can have a laugh with or even that they are not like any other person! I have passed the first year of my college course. The college course that I am doing is a BTEC National Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering. I am now the only girl on either side of the BTEC, or at least I am until September, when there is supposedly a girl coming onto the first year of my course. All of the lectures are trying to make me become friends with her - before I have even met her, who knows I might not even like her at all! I go back to college on the 18th September, it will be nice to be able to catch up with friends from college! I have not really been to cadets since moving up here, but there are more reasons to that than anyone needs to know about! I have however turned a tad more girlie than I was when I left Berkshire just over a year ago now! I still cannot believe that it has been a year since I moved already - where has the time gone??? Since being up here I have been out to Florida - which was great fun. I have made many great friends up here, although I am no where near as close friends with them as I am with the friends that I had to leave behind down in Berkshire. My love situation has not changed, but to be honest I prefer being independant and single because I do not have to worry about what someone else wants to do - all I have to worry about is what I want to do and when I want to do it! I am happy although I do sometimes think of what it could have been like if I had stayed in Berkshire, or even what it could have been like if I had gone to Welbeck like I had planned before I actually got my GSCE results! I would like to CONGRATULATE Helen on getting into Welbeck - I hope that you have lots of fun!And please do not forget to keep in touch hun! How have you all been? What have you all been up to?
