TWENTY ONE It’s a number that seems to occur or be linked - whether by accident or fate - to significant events. Perhaps that is why 21 is seen as a significant birthday or milestone in a person’s or organisation’s life. Remember the song? “Twenty-one today, 21 today, I’ve got the key to the door, never been 21 before. TWENTY ONE is the number of firings in a gun salute. It was the 21st amendment of the American constitution which ended prohibition. The 21 demands of the MKS led to the foundation of Solidarity in Poland. | ||||
