We've been busy  We have mixed, mastered and posted our new song "The Great Fire Of London" onto both our myspace and bebo. We have been preforming it at our shows since March, and its good to finally give people a chance to listen to it whenever they want. If you want it on your iPod just nip along to www.myspace.com/sooth and download it from there. We will be putting it onto www.SoothMusic.com this week. We have posted every song from our latest EP "Six Months On" onto our myspace page, fact saying that I think I'll post them on bebo today too. This means you can download our full CD, send it to your friends, put it on your iPod, play it in your car...whatever. It's yours for free. All we ask is that you let as many people hear it as possible, and of course say nice things about us for giving you free music We won a battle of the bands last night. Didn't even know it was a competition, but there you go. Its nice to be recognised. I think we're getting some recording time for winning, and a few mor gigs around the country with the company that organised it. We have loads of new shows booked up around Scotland including Perth, Wishaw, Stirling and of course Glasgow. Tickets have just came in for our Classic Grand show. Its gonna be a belter. So if your wanting tickets for it give us a message and we'll give you credit crunch prices. I think thats it for now. | Hunner's are happening, so here's a little bit of info for people to hopefully get excited about. You fucking should be excited!! If you excited, repost this with the subject "I'm fucking excited' hahaha!! Studio News We are recording our new cd with the next 3 weeks. We've booked up the new and improved chem19 studios, who also recorded our first two demos "sooth", and "a night at the railway". We've been in to visit the studio, get a look at the facilities and speak to the producers about what we're wanting and working towards for this demo. The studio is completely new this year, and they were just doing some finishing touches to it when we visited. Few big names have used it already for a chem19 project for merging poetry and rock/pop music. Gig news Right after we come out of the studio we have a gig in the Soundhaus!! Not only is this a gig, but its a celebration of the CD being finished. So we'll all be dumping our gear in the practice studio and getting a good party drink in. Plan is to hopefully go on first, so we can enjoy drinking with all you's fuckers who have came to see us!! Plus if the bands are really really pish we can go drinking somewhere else!! Party News Aswell as heading out on the Friday night to celebrate the new CD, we're booking up a lovely meal in Kublai Khan, in Merchant City in Glasgow. Not only to celebrate the CD, but also Drumming Dave's 22nd. Fucking amazing restaurant. Mongolian restaurant. Been there once before. Well the deal is, ANY BODY CAN COME!! We just want everyone to come and have a good night with us. If your interested let me know and i'll book you in. We'll probs be going for a wee drink afterwards!! | Starka turned out to be grat fun, and we really enjoyed ourselves. Next gig we have booked in a gig in a small youth club in Carluke. It is where some of the guys from the band played their first ever gigs with various other bands, so we have our roots dug deep and street level and will be fun to play there again. We're gigging with hiding from tomorrow (this gig will be one of their last), and regalia (this is their first ever gig) should be fun, so this is for all the under 18's, hope to see you there! xx | ||||
