EXIT will be preforming a very special instore performance in Zavvi, Victoria Square, Belfast to promote the release of their new EP on Friday 13th June.

The show is open to all ages and it is also free event. The band will be playing from 6pm - 7pm sharp, so get down early and catch the band play tracks from the EP and other new unrealeased tracks. The new EP will be on sale in-store during the event, but even if you cant make the event the new EP will also be permanantly available in the store during and after the show. So come down meet the band and hear them perform a live show in this soecial instore event in the Zavvi store in Belfast's new Victoria Square complex.

After a successful year for the band, great reviews and a great EP launch show in Belfast's Spring & Airbrake the band are looking forward to reaching new audiences with the release of their new EP performing shows all over the country, UK, Scotland and Europe to support it.

EXIT would like to invite you to celebrate the launch of their brand new EP at Belfast’s Spring And Airbrake on Friday 28th March. Doors open at 8:30pm and Admission is £2 at the door. EXIT will also be giving away 10 copies of the EP to the first ten people through the doors. Also appearing on the night are three other great live bands including, Eleventh Note, Thief and Earthverse.

The band will be playing all the tracks from this EP and some new songs at the launch. So get down to The Spring And Airbrake on Friday 28th March for a night of independent live music.

EXIT reach overall finals of BODOG 672 days ago
 
Well,
Its happened...EXIT have reach the world finals of Bodog battle of the bands. EXIT have reached the world finals of the BodogMusic Battle of the Bands, a worldwide search for the best unsigned band. Filmed as a part of a reality TV show to be shown on VH1 US the eventual winner will win a million dollar record deal and battle it out on tour across the USA.

EXIT were the only Northern Irish band to have reached the All-Ireland finals which took place on 20th Jan. The band won through their place in the All-Ireland final and now the band must battle against bands throughout Europe to win their place on a US tour and a chance at a million dollar record deal. EXIT are now one of three bands representing Ireland in the world finals (other two bands are from Dublin & Wexford).

The band have battled through thousands of bands via internet voting and industry professional votes to get onto the competition. Since then the band have battled it out in several live rounds to finally reach the finals.

The Finals take place on the 7th Feb at The Manchester Academy, Manchester.

The band would like to take this opportunity to thank all those people who voted for the band in the last round and throughout the competition. A big thanks also goes out to all those who came to see us in Dublin in the various heats. We had fun and it was a great experience. However, its all up from here. Whatever happens in the competition next is all a bonus because the competition has opened up lots of doors for the band....including a festival in Italy asking the band to play, all expenses paid.

Hey all,
EXIT appeared in the All-Ireland finals of Bodog Music Battle Of The Bands on Sunday 20th. Dispite being the best band at the competition by far and some other dubious goings on (those who were there saw what went on) we were not in the top two bands to move on. However, we can back into the competition via a wild card vote. So in order to get us back into the competition and into the overall finalsof this competition goto the following link to vote for us: -

Just to illustrate how the results were fixed you will notice that we are the band with the biggest percentage of votes (as on mon 21st). This is because audience votes and judges votes are carried forward to the wildcard voting stage. But despite this we were not in the top two...does this seem wierd to you. Well its not as wierd as the top two bands getting promoted from the stage by the organiser of the comp, promoting the judges.

EXIT make it to all-Ireland Finals730 days ago
 
Great news....EXIT have made it through to the All-Ireland finals of the reality TV Battle of the bands hosted by US based record label Bodog Music. This means that The band will play the massive Tripod venue (1300 capacity) in Dublin on Sunday 20th Jan 2008. To get through to the next round we need all the support we can get down to Dublin to support the only band from Northern Ireland to make it through. So we are selling tickets and running a bus in order to bring everyone down to Dublin for a day trip and then a concert that night. The bus will leave from City Hall in belfast and leave you back there after the gig.

Here's the deal, we have got through to the next round of Bodog Music's competition to win a million dollar record deal. To do this not only do we have to battle against the bands live onstage (the easy part) we also have to out promote all the bands.

Also, if your interested in coming down to cheer on the band at the next round you can buy tickets from the band. The next round is happening on 28th November in The Pod venue in Dublin. Bodog battle we got through782 days ago
 
EXIT are one step closer to a million dollar record deal as we tore the place up and secured our place in the next round. This round will happen in The Pod venue in Dublin, tickets ate to be announced and we are also working on transport to the gig.

EXIT -- EXIT EP

As soon as the first chords strike up, Exit make you sit up and take notice. Their new EP couldn't have a better start. The opening track, City By The Sea, has a catchy central riff and lures you in straight away. You can imagine watching this band on stage in a 20 thousand seater arena with the crowd singing along to every word. It took me three plays before I could move onto the rest of the Cd but I'm glad I did, because Exit just get better.

Label Girl has a heavier feel, reminiscent of Thin Lizzy crossed with the Undertones. Tristan Harris' excellent vocals are wonderfully complemented by Chris Logan's artful guitar playing as his riffs follow and twist around Tristan's lyrics.

Man On The Moon has a darker mood and showcases the drumming of Shane Watters and Andy Morgan's bass, which appear to the fore on this track, as Logan's guitar shimmers away in the background - a subtler performance yet still pivotal. The Cd ends on a gentler note with the anthemic Break The Chains. The song builds and builds, layer upon layer, showcasing the band's strength in song writing. With four strong tracks, this EP can only help the band raise their profile. It's glorious from start to finish.

The Dublin gig is quite special, we are taking part in a worldwide Televised Battle Of The Bands with a chance to win a million dollar record deal.
