MOLA Debut single out this Friday 9th Nov!hace 781 días
 
Hey all,

Our debut single " Digging That Hole" is released this Friday 9th Nov.
It will be a double A-side with "Melody Bleeds".

They will be available from www.downloadmusic.ie and www.outersounds.ie priced a paltry 99 cent each.

Both tracks are taken from the album "One Year in the Asylum" which will be released in early Dec and has some killer artwork done by 60's popart guru Bob Masse.

Hello Friends!

We wish to apologize for the apparent lack of activity by us the band members for the past while. However, we have been very busy little boys putting the finishing touches to this album of ours and while it has taken a lot longer than we expected, we believe the results are well worth the wait and will truly take you all by surprise. The album has been funded by ourselves and so has taken longer due to finances and availability of studios etc. It has been produced by ourselves and Liam Mulvaney who plays guitar in The Radio, an Irish band from Dublin.

We are really buzzed about the whole thing and it's a real collage of sounds and styles of music while always staying true to ourselves and what we wanted to do. There is a song called 'The Third Degree' which is one of our favorites to play live and it has taken on quite a new dimension in the studio and sounds really powerful. Another track is 'Vito Let's Dance' whic has undergone a bit of an overhaul with the sound more akin to something of soul funk dance type thing similar I suppose to James Brown or something, it really grooves anyway. I'll let you decide for yourselves when you all hear it.

We could not give a clear indication of when the release time for the album would be previously due to our unhappiness with some of the song so they were re-recorded and now sound absolutely killer. There was also a recent addition to the fold, it's a song called 'Diggin that hole' and it's a real stomper, up tempo rock n' roll!

The album will be officially released in September with a single released in August and tour dates will be announced soon in support of the release so keep the faith and keep checking back to us here for the further updates as they come.
