  • Hollyoaks are backing cyberbullying campaign

    The Department for Children, Schools and Families describes cyberbullying as 'when one person or a group of people aim to threaten, tease or embarrass someone else by using a mobile phone, the internet or technologies.'

    Jennifer Metcalfe, who plays Hollyoaks' Mercedes McQueen, is showing her support for the campaign, she said: "Bullying of any kind is never acceptable. Even though cyberbullying may not cause you physically harm it's still wrong, and through visiting websites such as CyberMentors you can find out more information about how to help combat it."

  • Help Wolverine beat bullying on Twitter

    This week, Hugh Jackman, the star of X-Men Origins: Wolverine has said on Twitter that he will donate $100,000 to one of his followers’ favourite charities – all they have to do is send him a message through his Twitter page http://twitter.com/RealHughJackman explaining why their charity deserves it!

    If you have a Twitter account it’s a great chance for you all to show your support for Beatbullying – just log in and send a tweet to @RealHughJackman explaining why you want him to support Beatbullying – it should only take you 30 seconds and could make a massive difference to the number of young people we’re able to help.

    Telling someone isn't always the answer believe me!!!! Bullying in schools has to stop but since the schools don't want a bad reputation they deny the fact that bullying exists within their grounds!!!!!!! Talk about amunition for the bullies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
