Yo dude, what gets me is that if the No vote had won, the yes side would have kicked up a stink about this. It suprises me that no-one is doing anything about it. I have spoken to people who have it in their power to do something about this, but even they are at a loss as they know that nothing will be done about this as they were so desperate to have it passed and that it wouldnt look good for Ireland if untoward practices took lace during this "democratic" referendum. I personaly would investifate this further by checking the CCTV in Cork and if that proved to be illegal practices in motion, I would then investigate the whole referendum. What bothers me is if someone is up in front of a judge for stealing food or being drunk, the book is thrown at them, but it seems ok to be fixing elections and accepting foreign money as contributions. It not rocket science, we just want answers??

I will be voting YES to the Lisbon Treaty because … I want an Irish Commissioner. With the Lisbon Treaty in force, this is guaranteed. With the Nice Treaty in force, it is not. I value my rights. Dignity, liberty, equality, solidarity and justice are the cornerstones of European civilisation and are enshrined in the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights. The Lisbon Treaty makes the Charter binding and part of EU law. I know that Europe values Ireland's views. When we rejected Lisbon the first time, the leaders of 26 nations sat up, took notice and did all they could to address our concerns. The guarantees they gave us are proof that Ireland's opinion counts. I want the EU to be more democratic. The Lisbon Treaty gives a much greater say than before to the European Parliament, the one EU institution that is directly elected by us.
