Blok Dance Troupe is a group of 15 professional female dancers from central Scotland. The Troupe are professionally trained to a high standard in a variety of dance styles including Latin American, Salsa, Hip Hop, Hip Hop Combination, Freestyle, Rock & Roll and Cheerleading.
BLOK was originally formed through Kay Klass Hip Hop and Street School of Dance in early 2007 with only 8 dancers and since then have gone from strength to strength recruiting a further 7 girls and performing at various events all over the UK. As BLOK’s reputation has grown so too has their portfolio of work.
BLOK are available for a variety of events including dance performances, modelling and promotions and dance workshops for both kids and adults.

FUNDRAISER
We would like to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who attended and helped out with our Fundraiser.
The night was a huge success and we managed to raise over £1700 so thank you all so so much.
Hopefully you all had a great night!!

Blok Dance Troupe is a group of 15 professional female dancers from central Scotland. The Troupe are professionally trained to a high standard in a variety of dance styles including Latin American, Salsa, Hip Hop, Hip Hop Combination, Freestyle, Rock & Roll and Cheerleading.

As BLOK’s reputation has grown so too has their portfolio of work. Having successfully achieved:
o Yearly performance contract with “Colours”
o Charity performance with “Pink Aerobics” for Breast Cancer
o Performance contract with dance band “X-Control”
o Performance at Scottish Gymnastics annual Gymnastics Festival “Gymfest”
o Modelling for “Dreams” Bridal Wear, Stirling
o Lecturing for the UKA (The United Kingdom Alliance of Professional Teachers of Dancing) in Glasgow, Aberdeen and Blackpool
o Choreographing various dance shows for Kay Klass Hip Hop and Street School of Dance
o Sponsorship from Fitness Scotland (National Governing body for Health and Fitness)
o Performances in a variety of Nightclubs
o Performance at European Basketball Championships through “Basketball Scotland”
The girls are also members of the Rangers FC Professional Dance Squad which was launched in season 2006/2007 and has been a huge success. The squad entertain the home crowd of 50,000 at Ibrox Stadium with their pre-game and half time performances. The dance squad participate at Rangers home games including Clydesdale Bank Premier League, Champions League, UEFA Cup, Scottish Cup, CIS Insurance Cup and other promotions, all Rangers Professional dance squad routines are choreographed by the members of BLOK.
BLOK are available for a variety of events including dance performances, modelling and promotions and dance workshops for both kids and adults.
