We have gliding & power flying EVERY MONTH. Every cadet is subsidised $20 per flight!!!
Winners of the National Efficiency Trophy.
Placed 3rd in Wallingford Shooting Competition.
Took out the Auckland ATC Shooting Competition.
The oldest cadet unit in Auckland, the third ATC unit created in NZ, we were established in 1941.
Fantastic officers, great NCO's, & the best cadets in NZ. Absolutely.

Hello all in advanced flight this year.0 Replies 53 weeks
Most of you may already have been asked, but this will be an area for any ideas for what you may want to do today. I personally will check this regularly and report back to PLT/OFF England with any of your ideas. Don't forget, you can talk to either myself, LAC Yim or LAC Bakmeedeniya.
So get thinking, and remember, the only stupid idea is the one not said.

NB: We are also the winners of the Sir John Logan Campbell Vase (for the highest score in the Northern Area!)
We also had 3 Cadets confirmed with their full Marksman Qualification for shooting 80 or higher in a Wallingford Competition:-

Top shot at the Proficiency Shoot was U/O Greatrex.
The top shot from Proficiency Flight was CDT Rosser.
Great time had by all, thanks to the NCO's who turned up and assisted.
Special mention to F/S Subramaniam, who whilst on an urgent mission to purchase more staples for the staple gun, bumped into Sachin Tendulkar, and actually shook his hand! next time F/S, remember to a/ use the camera on your cellphone to take a photo, and b/ invite him back to shooting!!! -

Postponed to Sunday, but we are not required to attend on Sunday as the Open Day will not be at the same level as was originally planned.
