23rd precinct was first opened in 1979 then changed hands in 1989 to the current owner and is still going strong!
The shop cover's most aspects of dance music from trance to techno, house to hardcore.
We also stock gig tickets, dj / producer equipment and dj mix cds.
Located in Glasgow's city centre
We also sell Record Bags, Event Tickets plus loads more.
Early in 2008 we opened our very own production school on the premises where you can learn to make beats with the professionals.

AT THE 23RD PRECINCT WE OFFER A FULL RANGE OF COURSES COVERING ALL APSECTS OF DANCE MUSIC PRODUCTION FROM SEQUENCING, RECORDING TECHNIQUES, STRUCTURING AND MASTERING. IN A RELAXED ENVIROMENT.
WE HAVE A FULLY EQUIPED LEARNING SUITE WHERE YOU'LL LEARN ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT CREATING THAT MONSTER TRACK.
MOST COLLEGE AND UNIVERSITY COURSE SWAY AWAY FROM DANCE MUSIC AND FOCUS MORE ON TEACHING YOU HOW TO WORK IN A LIVE /STUDIO ROCK ENVIROMENT. SO IF YOU WOULD RATHER BE LEARNING WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW INSTEAD OF SETTING UP MICROPHONES ON A DRUM KIT!
