No1Sun are a three piece band that play a variety of covers from classic disco to modern indie/pop.

The band first started playing covers to get some money together to pay for a CD of our own material, but alas, due to musical differences the band split for a while. Three of the original five members were keen to get out playing again and No1SUN was reborn. Now playing all over Scotland and breaking into England, playing pubs, clubs, parties and functions.

The three members of No1SUN are:

Bass/Vocals: Billy
Drums/Vocals: Brian

Rock the Rovers August 08
A great night at Rock the Rovers Even Brian Had a few drinks !! We were scheduled to be on at 4:15, but when we arrived our slot had changed by an hour, due to Valour Amour pulling out at the last minute. So we grabbed a quick beer, then were told that our time slot had changed back to 4:15. Make up your mind lads. Anyway got all the gear ready to go on then, disaster as Brian strted to panic about the drumkit. Wasn't setup how he would like it, but he just got on with it. We decided this year to play all the most popular songs we play, so the dancefloor was mobbed from the off. We had a great time. We then stayed back to watch some of the other bands and have a few beers. Dave and Billy got a bit drunk and had to head off, while Brian got a bit of the munchies and headed for the kabab shop. Thanks to everyone who turn out for this great cause. Cheers !!

Harlem 8th August
Not played at Harlem for a while, but what a great gig !! Arrived to setup around 8:00. Not much to setup at this gig as Brian the sound engineer does most of the work. We didn't think it was going to be that busy as Kirkcaldy on a Friday night is pritty quiet these days, but once we got started the place filled up. Was another great gig. As Jason didn't have anything to do, he took the photos which will be posted shortly. Thanks again for coming to see us. We are really looking forward to playing Rock the Rovers on the 24th. Kyleakin Festival 1st August
Fantastic gig yet again!! Thought this gig was going to be a good one, after the last time we played two years ago and we weren't disappointed. The only problem was the Scottish midge eating us alive. We arrived arount 8:00 and it was chucking it down from the heavens. Water everywhere !! Managed to setup during the kids disco, as we had the full PA with us we had a lot to do before we could sound check. The stage was a bit on the shaky side, which caused a we bit of a problem for Brians drums during the gig. Done the sound check, got changed quickly as we didn't want to get eaten by the midgies. The place was very quiet when we first started, but not for long everyone started to pile in and made it a great night. The drums were bouncing about the place when dave started jumping about. Had a great night. Thanks to Chrisann for taking the photo's, have a look, and thanks to everyone that braved the elements. Cheers !!!
