.. Melophobia are a 4-piece progressive rock band from Kildare, Ireland. Formed in the summer of 2004, Melophobia have undergone several changes in both members and musical styles, but in the last year they have found a settled line up with the addition of Stevie Darragh on bass guitar. The three other members, David Prendergast (vocals / Piano), Scott Blanc (guitar) and Scott Johnson (drums) have been in the band from the beginning and are now looking forward to the year ahead with their long time friend Stevie Darragh. The majority of Melophobia's sound is rooted in layers upon layers of thick but smooth melody, underpinned by infectiously catchy yet refined hooks.
