- No1Sun are a three piece band that play a variety of covers from classic disco to modern indie/pop.
The band first started playing covers to get some money together to pay for a CD of our own material, but alas, due to musical differences the band split for a while. Three of the original five members were keen to get out playing again and No1SUN was reborn. Now playing all over Scotland and breaking into England, playing pubs, clubs, parties and functions.
The three members of No1SUN are:

November 2009
November was a good month, mostly local gigs, but did do a charity event at the Grasshoppers Rugby Club in Preston.
First gig of the month was at the Brittish Legion, on a Sunday. Not as busy as a Friday night, maybe because of the weather. Thought we were going to have to put sand bags down the stop the flood water coming in. Was still a great gig, all had a good time.
Next stop was the Gunners club in Kirkcaldy, not very busy, but the folk that were there made the most of the space to dance all night.
Our first gig at Warout stadium saw Dave fall off one of the monitors and land on his ass, spraining his wrist in the process. He's still feeling the pain.
November also saw un in Preston for the first time in a couple of years. Managed to raise £1400 for charity and won a couple of bottles in the raffle, not a bad night work.
We ended the month at club DV8 and Balwearie Golf club. Both night were superb, which was a suprise to us as the opening of MacSquinty's was the same weekend.

October 2009
Another great month for us.
Started the month with gigs at Styx in glenrothes, Craiggie Bar Ballingry and Baritza. That weekend we had a bit of trouble with the van. Got back to Kirkcaldy on the Saturday night when the lights died. Then to top it all I stalled it, then it wouldn't restart. Bugger. Never mind the people at Arnold Clark sorted us out with another one, and towed the broken one away. Dispite the problems we had a great weekend.
The following weekend saw us at the Douglas Arms Methal Hill (first time for us) and Partners. We were downstairs in Partners this time, so was a much better atmosphere. We ended the month with gigs at Kinglassie and Club DV8.
Thanks again for your support. We had a great time at the Halloween gig in Club DV8, was so good seeing so many people dressed up.

September 2009
September was a quiet month by our standards. First weekend we had off. The following weekend saw us at the Gunners club in Kirkcaldy, Torleys in Lochgelly and our first time in the Rowantree in Dalkeith. All the gig that weekend were fantastic.
We only had the one other gig in September, that was Glub DV8. DV8 has been kind of quiet in recent times on a friday for us (possibly to do with the 3pm finish), but this time around was great. We had a great time.
New songs this month were "Bulletproof" by Laroux, "Never Forget You" by the Noisettes and "I'm Not Alone" by Calvin Harris. All have been well received.
